Hi, I'm Mike Tedford, a passionate photographer with a love for capturing moments and telling stories through my lens. With a diverse background in finance and insurance, I transitioned to pursue my true passion for photography.
After retiring from a successful 30-year career in the family insurance business, I decided to become a nontraditional student and go back to school at Oklahoma State University to study photography. This new adventure allowed me to further develop my artistic skills and deepen my understanding of the art form. Prior to my photography degree, I earned a degree in Finance from Oral Roberts University earlier in my life.
Starting over can be challenging, but I embraced the opportunity to follow my dreams. My perseverance and determination led me to rediscover my love for art and photography, which I have cherished since high school. It's never too late to pursue your passion, and my journey is a testament to that.
Outside of my photography pursuits, I have a couple of personal hobbies that bring me joy. I enjoy glassblowing, where I can create beautiful and unique pieces of art. When I want an adrenaline rush, I engage in paintball, which allows me to combine my love for strategy and physical activity.
